As summer approaches and all of the biggest movies begin to premier, you might be wondering which movies will be big hits and which ones will be misses. Captain America: Civil War
Hitting big screens on May 6th, Captain America: Civil War pits Chris Evans as Captain America against Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. This film is Marvel’s equivalent to Batman V Superman and sets in motion events that lead to Avengers: Infinity War. If you’re a Marvel fan you won’t want to miss this film.
Neighbors 2
Neighbors 2 is set to be out on May 13th starring Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron. If this sequel is anything like the first, it’s sure to be a profitable summer hit for Universal. Comedy fans won’t want to miss this movie.
The Nice Guys
The Nice Guys, out May 20th, stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling in a noir crime drama set in the 1970’s Los Angeles. This is one of the many Warner Bros. films set to come out this summer that isn’t a sequel or franchise flick.
Alice in Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass
Tim Burton’s 2010 Alice in Wonderland made $1 billion at the global box office. Although this sequel is being directed by The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted director James Bobin, it still stars all the favorites, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter, and it’s sure to be a summer hit. It is set to hit theaters May 27th.
Finding Dori
Finding Dori is the much anticipated sequel to Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Starring Ellen DeGeneres as Dori, the little forgetful fish learns the true meaning of family as she searches for where she came from. This film is perfect for families and will be making its debut on June 17th.
